The original seat on the VOGE DS900X is low (even for 175cm height), too wide, hard and the foam type is also not optimal for motorcycling. The far away handlebars don't help either.
I made this seat for myself after many failed attempts to make the original seat more comfortable with different kind of inserts (for example: gel) but I had to admit this seat is beyond saving.
The new seat is made of a special type of rubber foam which is more comfortable and will stay flexible for longer than standard foams used for office chairs...
I am only selling the seat foam for the front part. You will need to (details after purchase) buy the new cover and do some DIY. It is easy, watch my video.
Buy the new seat cover. I chose the non-slip Kahedo from louis.eu for 60EUR. Louis.eu article number: 10008654 Cheaper version available on aliexpress but not recommended (weak material).
Boorow or buy a staple gun that can fire about 10mm wide and 8mm tall rectangle-U shaped nails. LIke the Stanley STHT6-70414 (EUR40) but there are many type. For exmaple Einhell
Remove seat while disconnecting the electrical connector of the seat heater.
Remove the original seat cover with a flat-head screwdriver and a plier. Takes about 5 minutes.
Remove the seat heating by gently pulling from the edges (middle is not glued).
Cut out and remove front part of the seat.
Put new seat in place
Optional: reinstall seat heater and cover with 1.5mm neoprene self-adhesive sheet. Amazon article number: B0BYVNV7K8
Start stapling the new cover. Center the cover over the seat. Start stapling from the front center while stretching it to all sides, then continue stapling a few on one side, then a few on the other side and eventually reaching back center. Cut remaining cover but leave 1-2cm extra in case corrections are needed. First time it might take about 30 minutes.
